Food Assistance • Nourishing Louisiana

The Nourishing Louisiana AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) program, led by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul New Orleans, is a federal grant program that addresses the critical issues of food insecurity and equitable healthcare access in vulnerable communities across Southeast Louisiana.

SVdP Adult Learning Center

Our mission is to serve as a beacon of hope for adults who want to advance themselves and their career potential, by providing educational services. Knowledge is power, and we are here to help those who want to learn.

Thrift Store

Thrifting at your New Orleans SVdP Thrift Store not only supports your neighbors in need, but it also helps create revenue to provides assistance to local people through a variety of programs including clothing, furniture, housing, utility assistance, food, medical care, and transportation.
